Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant
Location: 100% In office - Newport Beach, CA (Ocean view!)
Pay Rate: $35-45 p/h

Position Overview
We are partnering with our client to identify a dependable and detail-focused Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant (standalone position) to manage daily accounting operations across multiple business entities in a hands-on manor. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, managing inter-company reconciliations, and supporting reporting activities.
The ideal candidate has strong experience using QuickBooks Desktop, thrives in a fast-paced multi-entity environment, and takes pride in maintaining organized and accurate financial data. Experience supporting real estate or property management accounting is beneficial but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Handle full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple LLCs and related entities
Maintain and manage accounting records within QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
Manage payroll processing, payroll allocations, and payroll tax compliance
Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations
Track rental income, property expenses, tenant deposits, and related financial activity
Ensure vendor invoices and payments are properly coded by entity and property
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting processes
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for CPA and tax preparation purposes
Maintain highly organized accounting files and financial documentation
Qualifications
Proven full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, highly preferred
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop required
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Real estate or property management accounting experience is a plus
